The travel and tourism industry in Northern Ireland is fantastically exciting and diverse, full of wonderful career opportunities – it is youthful, vibrant and rewarding. As a growth industry, Travel and Tourism offers a diverse range of job opportunities and career prospects. There are an estimated 1.4 million jobs related directly to tourism and hospitality across the country, accounting for five per cent of total UK employment. 

Learners are provided with the knowledge and skills in a number of specialist areas of expertise, ranging from customer service, management and leadership.

Courses
Foundation Degree in Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management with Specialisms

This Foundation Degree prepares you for a career in International Travel and Tourism Management. It focuses on acquisition and application of knowledge relevant to the role of the manager in the global hospitality industry. Through work based learning, the course provides opportunities to develop and enhance your practical, personal and interpersonal skills vital to successful performance in the workplace. On completion, you will be equipped to operate in a management role in the industry.

This Tour Guiding qualification has been designed to provide you with skills in the travel and tourism industry to enable them you develop a tour commentary and lead groups on a guided tour.

Pearson BTEC Level 2 First Diploma in Travel and Tourism

This course is a two year, full-time, programme that allows, if successful, achievement of the equivalent of 3 A Levels. About the Courses

Students have travelled with us from level 2 and level 3 to Foundation Degree and then beyond. Past students now have careers as Cabin Crew, Travel Consultants, Tourism Consultants, Event Managers, Receptionists, Hotel Managers, Restaurant Managers, and Service Handling Agents etc.
