Accommodation & Transport
Creating a home away from home
South West College is dedicated to creating vibrant, dynamic student communities where our students feels at home. Our staff go above and beyond to welcome new arrivals, get to know them, and encourage them to take part in the many activities and events! At South West College we want our students to embrace and enjoy their entire College experience, not just their study activities.
The Clinton Centre
As part of South West College’s drive to enrich the educational experience of all International Students it has invested in providing a very special International Student accommodation centre, ‘The Clinton Centre’. The Clinton Centre was officially opened in 2002 by President Clinton who gave his name to the facility in dedication to peace and prosperity in Ireland and around the world. Situated centrally in the island town of Enniskillen, in the heart of the Fermanagh Lakelands, The Clinton Centre is an ideal location for students to integrate with the local community in a safe and secure environment.
The Clinton Centre provides comfortable student accommodation that is serviced with a dedicated hospitality and maintenance team on hand to deliver an outstanding personal service, helping students to acclimatise and settle in quickly.
Public transport services and routes are again only a few minutes away, and medical services surround the accommodation, so it really is ideally located for all your needs when studying at South West College.
Please note that all international students will be collected from either Belfast International or Belfast City airport on arrival by a member of the College International Team.
If you wish to find out more about the accommodation and transport available, please don't hesitate to contact our International Office at International@swc.ac.uk
The South West region of Northern Ireland is well serviced in terms of medical provisions. There is a new purpose built South West Acute Hospital in Enniskillen, complemented by many local GP and dental services. All students must register to avail of these services. Please contact Student Support Service for further information.
