OCN Creative Writing Skills (Level 3)

Applicants to the course should have successfully completed the Level 2 Creative Writing course or demonstrate previous experience of creative writing.

OCR Level 3 Cambridge Technical Subsidiary Diploma in Art and Design - Graphics

The Graphics and Photography Pathway is a two-year course split into two one-year elements. In the first year, you’ll be placed onto the Subsidiary Diploma, where you’ll study 9 units, 18 in total over the 2 years. This is the equivalent of 3 x A Levels You’ll study units like Digital Technology, Branding for Design, Digital Photography, Animation, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics Advertising Photography and Fashion Photography. A typical unit consists of initial research, experimentation, generating ideas for a brief, developing ideas, presenting ideas to a client, using client feedback to refine ideas, and presenting a final outcome in response to a brief. Each unit is designed to be delivered as a project, based on commercial outcomes.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 90 credit Diploma in Art and Design (QCF)

The aim of this course is to provide learners with the opportunity to study Art & Design for 1 year to boost UCAS points of gain new skills. The practical nature of the course is designed to develop learner's expertise of the area of Fine Art and Large and Small Scale Design. Through hands on projects, they will develop skills, knowledge and understanding over tone years. A range of carefully selected topics equip learners with a broad view of all the main subjects needed to fully understand this area, and to be able to design and implement projects to a high standard.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art and Design (QCF)

The aim of this course is to build upon the interest learners already have in the field of Art and Design and prepare them either to progress to Higher Education in the field, or to enter the industry directly. The practical nature of the course is designed to develop learner's expertise of the area of Fine Art and Large and Small Scale Design. Through hands on projects, they will develop skills, knowledge and understanding over two years. A range of carefully selected topics equip learners with a broad view of all the main subjects needed to fully understand this area, and to be able to design and implement projects to a high standard.

The primary aim of the Pearson BTEC Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design (QCF) is to educate learners to make informed decisions which will facilitate their progression (primarily, but not exclusively) to appropriate Higher Education in Art and Design. The course builds on the learners' prior experience.
