InnovateUS Programme
The College Employer Support Programme “InnovateUs” will provide innovation and mentoring support for small and microbusiness. It is planned that this will lead to improved levels of company creativity and business growth through new and improved product and process development. The programme will help develop a new modern economic development infrastructure which brings together industry and academia into a structured working environment.

The InnovateUs Programme has three main objectives:
  1. Provide practical support to small business in priority sectors to enhance their capacity to develop new commercial products and processes;
  2. Stimulate Innovation, R&D and creativity to support entrepreneurial activity in small business; and
  3. Improve the FE sector capacity and expertise to deliver skills support to companies for R&D and innovation through the establishment of a coordinated, expert service delivery team.
Within the programme, Colleges will be responsible for development and delivery of new industry skills enhancement and technical expertise in the following industry areas:
  • Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing
  • Creative and Digital Media
  • Food, Drink & Tourism
  • ICT
  • Life & Health Sciences
  • Renewable Energy & Sustainable Technologies
