Site Supervisor Returns to College to Attain a Degree

Father of four Francis Mc Kenna from Derrygonnelly progressed within his career to Site Supervisor but required a formal qualification to match his competence. So, he returned to education through an Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) via the South West College (SWC) to achieve a Foundation Degree in Construction Engineering and Management.

 Budding Mechanics invited to attend launch of colleges brand new Motor Vehicle Workshop

Prospective students and parents are invited to attend the official opening of South West College’s brand new state of the art motor vehicle workshop on the Gortin Road, Omagh on Tuesday 22 June from 11am-4pm. The event will be on-site and operate in accordance with COVID protocols. Jungle Eating Challenge Winners at South West College

South West College held a ‘Jungle Challenge’ at each campus Open Day, in conjunction with Jungle NI outside Moneymore. The aim of the challenge was to complete an eating task which consisted of 3 courses, starter was jelly buffalo worms and meal worms, main course consisted of a cracker crickets and dessert was to eat an entire grasshopper.
