South West College have officially received the keys of their brand new, state-of-the-art motor vehicle workshop on the Gortin Road, Omagh. The workshop features the latest diagnostic and mechanical equipment available within the Motor Vehicle Industry, and facilities for training in EBS braking, active suspension systems, ADAS steering systems and engine horsepower testing.
Stuart Graham, who started his own business in 2016, just three months after completing his apprenticeship in Electrical Installation
with South West College (SWC), says the education he received through apprenticeships has been a central part of his career success.

With signs of improved activity and job prospects in the local construction industry, South West College (SWC) Omagh Campus, in partnership with local employers hosted an employer engagement evening to introduce prospective students to electrical apprenticeship programmes available at the college.
