South West College (SWC) have embarked on a three-year
Erasmus+ KA2 project, entitled ‘21st Century Students’. Partners involved in the project alongside SWC include institutes in Greece, Romania, Croatia, Germany and the Basque region, and the project objective is to promote Digital Manufacturing and Design in Schools.
On Saturday 5th march 2016 the Get Engineering Careers fair will again be held at South West College Dungannon Campus from 10.00am – 3.00pm. The event will celebrate engineering excellence across Tyrone and encourage more people to ‘get engineering.’
Colleges NI officially unveiled Further Education’s top innovators today (Wednesday 27th May) and rewarded them for coming up with a raft of exciting new projects linked to Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM).
Science and engineering, life sciences, software development and creative industries featured in the annual College BEST (Business & Education through Training & Skills) Awards. The awards celebrate the creative and innovative talent within Northern Ireland’s six regional further education (FE) colleges in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
Four Foundation Degree students from South West College have each received a STEM Industry Bursary of £2500 as part of a collaboration between Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council and South West College.
