College commemorates closure of iconic campus building with virtual exhibition celebrating 50 years of Further Education study
Vocational training has had a long history in the education system in Northern Ireland, helping individuals to gain the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career. For anyone considering a career in the motor vehicle industry, female apprentices Shanice Murray, Courtney Robinson and Chloe McCrossan, are a great example, as all three continue their studies in what was once considered a male dominated industry.

at South West College. Now, she says the recent Butterfly Effect Exhibition, which featured Art, Film and Media students at South West College, has given her new confidence and opened her eyes to industry opportunities.
South West College (SWC) is set to welcome prospective students to a range of on-campus Open Days to explore their wide range of Full-Time Further and Higher Education courses and Apprenticeship starting in September. Students should pre-register for the events by visiting the Colleges website at www.swc.ac.uk.
A new Cyber and Coding Summer Camp will take place across South West College campuses this summer, from 28th June – 2ndJuly, 9:30am – 3:30pm daily. The one-week camp is free, takes place in Dungannon, Omagh and Enniskillen, and is now open for enrolments.
South West College (SWC) have launched a new Higher Education Information Hotline, a direct phone line that prospective students and parents can call to obtain information about the Colleges wide range of Higher Education courses. Advice is on offer for HNCs, HNDs, Foundation Degrees and Honours Degree Top-up courses that are validated by The Open University, Queens University, Ulster University and Pearson and delivered locally at the Colleges campuses across Cookstown, Dungannon, Enniskillen and Omagh.
