A significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by Ulster University and South West College in the presence of First Minister Arlene Foster at Stormont Castle Monday 21 March 2016. The launch of the SkillBuildNI competition took place at the Technology and Skills Centre campus of South West College recently. The competition, which is held annually, pits the finest apprentices in Northern Ireland against each other. Trainees from 12 different trades contest against each other on the first step of their journey to the World Skills competition.
