College Programme helps locals with employability skills

South West College is set to boost employability skills in the Fermanagh, Omagh and Mid Ulster District Council areas.  Thanks to a major Department led Work Ready Employability Services Programme (WRES), the programme is designed to support jobseekers by offering access to free training in key employability skills, therefore helping them on their pathway to employment.

Talented Billie-Jo accelerated her career at South West College (SWC) after enrolling on a Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (Gold Apprenticeship), which helped forge educational and employment trajectories, opening the way for Billie-Jo to secure a place on the coveted WorldSkills Squad UK team.
