The overarching aim of the BSc (Hons) Construction Engineering & Management programme is to produce high calibre graduates who shall have obtained the relevant competencies to undertake roles within one of the many disciplines of construction engineering and construction management. The programme has been developed to produce professional and competent construction managers and engineers equipped with industry relevant technical and managerial skills.
The BSc (Hons) Degree in Sport and Exercise course will focus on developing knowledge of the field (content) whilst giving the learners the opportunities to apply their learning in practical contexts (experience) whilst enhancing their learning through problem solving approaches (challenging and authentic tasks).

The HNC in Applied Biology prepares you for employment in the science industry and provides you with the opportunity to gain entry to relevant Degree programmes. The earning experience is a combination of laboratory based training, field work, theoretical knowledge and e-learning. The programme incorporates a number of talks by experts from the industry and includes visits to industries, laboratories and conservation areas. The teaching team are highly qualified, with industrial and research experience and some holding PhD degrees. The staff continually develop their professional skills by attending specialised training programmes. You are encouraged to take up work placement in hospital labs, civil service labs, industries and educational sectors. It is the responsibility of the student to organise this work placement.

The course is aimed at those working in the engineering industry and seeking an academic progression route whilst continuing to work. It is also designed for persons who want to formalise the skills already acquired in the industry or those wishing to re-skill. In addition to this the course is also aimed at full time students completing A-Levels or BTEC National Diplomas who wish to continue their academic career in Engineering. This course provides a nationally recognised qualification offering career progression and professional development.
HNC in Performing Arts offers students the chance to develop broad range of skills in the subject area. Learners are given the opportunity to build on their existing skills gained at Level 3 in order to pursue a specialist interest and further develop their practical performance skills.
