Description
The Level 3 Wall & Floor Tiling qualification has been developed for delivery in a working environment. This means you need to be employed to study this qualification. the course has been designed to develop and recognise your skills, knowledge and competence so that you can work within the construction industry or progress onto further learning.
Additional Information
You will be required to complete Essential Skills literacy, Numeracy and ICT if you do not have a GCSE grade C or Level 2 Essential Skills in English, Maths and Information Technology.
Course Content
You will be able to demonstrate, in a real workplace environment, that you are competent against a set of performance competencies. The learner will learn key practical skills and knowledge.
Core Modules
Health Safety and Welfare in the Workplace,
Good Occupational Working Relationships in the Workplace,Occupational Methods of Work in the Workplace,Setting out complex tiling for Wall & Floor surfaces.
Progression Opportunities
Achievement of this qualification will enable the leaner to follow a career in their chosen field of Wall and Floor Tiling. On completion students can progress onto Higher Education qualifications such as Level 4/5 Foundation Degree programmes.
Entry Requirements
The minimum age requirement for this qualification is 16plus. However it is necessary for applicants to have achieved Level 2 qualifications in Wall & Floor Tiling or have substantial industrial experience in this area. All applicants must be in paid employment to complete the course.
