Description

This Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Bench Joinery is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills to pursue a career within the Construction industry. Bench Joinery is Workshop based, manufacturing joinery components used in the Construction and service industries. The course supports the knowledge and skills development required for access to all levels within the Carpentry and joinery working environment.

Additional Information

You will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to measure, mark out and manufacture a range of joinery components such as stairs, windows, doors, kitchen units, bedroom and office furniture, shop fronts etc. You will also learn how to operate woodworking machinery.

Assessment Method

There are no formal examinations for this qualification. the course is assessed through a series of competence based assessments within College and the work place.

This qualifiaction will give you a robust understanding of the skills, knowledge and understanding required for you to enter work environment or progress onto the Level 3.
