Description

This Level 2 qualification has been designed to provide the learner with the skills and knowledge to understand protection and safeguarding when working with children, young people and adults at risk.

Course Content

Objectives:

  • Identify signs and symptoms of abuse and possible contributory factors
  • Know how to respond to suspected or alleged abuse
  • Understand the national and local context of safeguarding and protection from abuse
  • Understand ways to reduce the likelihood of abuse
  • Know how to identify and report unsafe practices
