Description

This short course will enable learners to understand the causes and effects of stress and how mindfulness techniques can be used to address these.

Course Content

There will be 4 learning outcomes covered as follows: 1 Be aware of the causes and effects of stress on children. 2 Know how a child’s brain develops. 3 Know the benefits of mindfulness to a child’s development. 4 Know how to apply mindfulness techniques to reduce stress and/or anxiety.

Assessment Method

Students will be required to produce a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the learning outcomes.
