Description
This course is the first step on your journey to a new and rewarding career as an Accounting Technician. The Certificate prepares you to carry out basic accounting tasks in the workplace.
Additional Information
Students who gain a place on this course must also register as a student member of Accounting Technicians Ireland.

Course Content
A solid grounding in business as well as a strong foundation in accountancy and taxation, together with an introduction to business and company law.
Assessment Method
External examination.
Progression Opportunities
Upon successful completion of this course, you can progress onto Accountancy Ireland Level 5 Diploma
Entry Requirements
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and meet the minimum entry criteria set by the awarding body, Accounting Technicians Ireland, which is:
A minimum of Grade B Maths and C English at GCSE

Mature learners who have reached over 23 years but not possess the minimum educational requirements, can apply based on experience and recommendation from employer.
