Description

This course is designed for those working in the hairdressing sector who would like to improve their skills and knowledge of colour correction services.

Additional Information

During your course you may be required to purchase course text books and incur additional costs for printing, photocopying and binding. The overall additional costs incurred to support your studies may be in the region of £250 per year.

Students are required to:

  • Submit all coursework and assessments by specified dates, coursework submitted without consent after the deadline shall not normally be accepted.
  • The minimum overall pass mark of 40% is required to be achieved in all modules.
  • Course Content

    This course covers all aspects of colour correction and the underpinning knowledge required. The Learners will develop knowledge and skill relating to colour removal, pre-pigmentation, undercoats and pre-softening. This programme will help the Learners develop confidence in treating colour issues that present in the salon.

    Assessment Method

    This award will be assessed using practical observation and online testing.

    Progression Opportunities

    Progression on to other Level 4 awards for the hair and beauty industry. This award is a supplementary qualification for Learners working in the hairdressing industry.

    Entry Requirements

    Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing or Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing with a minimum of three years' industrial experience.
