Description

The VTCT Level 2 Award in Styling and Finishing Hair is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in blow drying and finishing techniques on a variety of hair types and lengths. Client consultation, products, heated styling equipment to finish the service are all part of this award.

Additional Information

Students will be required to purchase a uniform and kit upon commencement of the programme.

Course Content

The VTCT Level 2 Award in Styling and Finishing Hair is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in blow drying and finishing techniques on a variety of hair types and lengths. A combination of practical observations, portfolio of evidence and a theory test are used to assess this qualification.

Progression Opportunities

Progression On completion of this qualification you may choose to undertake further study in qualifications such as Level 2 NVQ Award in Plaiting and Twisting Hair, Level 2 Award in Fashion and Photographic Makeup, Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing or Level 3 Award in Indian Head Massage.
