Assessment Method

To gain an Award the candidate must successfully complete all five practical assignments and the oral questions

This qualification can help you to progress in your career as a pastry chef. On completion of this qualification candidates may progress into employment or to the following City & Guilds qualifications: Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Professional Cookery Or if you already hold the above qualification Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Professional Cooker_x000D_

Entry Requirements

This level will suit those with little or no experience in pastry and confectionery. Places are subject to individual interview (telephone / on-line)._x000D_
