Career Guidance
Each campus has a dedicated careers professional who provides guidance and information for all prospective students. This includes help in deciding on courses and relevant combinations, establishing career aims, and supporting students in planning and applying for their next step – Higher Education and employment. You are encouraged to make contact with the Careers Officer in your campus during your time at the College. Contact Student Services for further details.
Student Learning Support
The College is committed to providing a supportive and friendly learning environment for all students and has a confidential Student Learning Support service that can help you with any learning difficulties you may be experiencing. The College can offer a wide range of support depending on your needs. This can include:

Learning Resource Centre/Library & Access Centre
The Learning Resource Centre/Library & Access Centre are student-centred resource centres providing a wide range of textbooks, journals, newspapers, census data, government publications and CD-Roms, which provide an excellent opportunity for private study and research. The centres include high speed internet access and a variety of web–based learning resources helping students to research information online. The staff in each Centre are available to assist students in exploring the Centre’s resources so that they can become self sufficient in their use.
Essential Skills
The College provides specialist support for those Full-Time and Part-Time students who require key numeracy and/or literacy skills. Contact the Curriculum Support Officer at the relevant campus for further information

Facilities to support you
Student Social Area
All students have access to a wide variety of facilities on each campus. The social areas containing pool tables, a television and a games area, and are highly popular locations for students to socialise in during breaks and free periods.
Students’ Union
Membership of the official Student Union is open to all students of the College. It is affiliated to the NUS/USI who represents all student unions in Northern Ireland. The purpose of the Union is to promote the general welfare of the students by encouraging student societies, sports and social activities. The benefits to students include a discount card, website offers, access to information on welfare issues, finance, health and many more.
Crèche
Dungannon and Omagh Campuses have fully functional crèche facilities on site. These facilities are operated by Treehouse and are available for staff and student bookings. Both crèches offer a drop-in service to facilitate parents at short notice.
