Hair of Success at South West College

The success of hairdressing and barbering trainees who completed their NVQ Level 2 and NVQ Level 3 qualifications was recently celebrated at South West College, Dungannon Campus.

Current trainees and those who recently qualified attended the event to receive their certificates, presented by Mrs Sheila Hughes, past student of Dungannon College and owner of the award-winning Scruples Hair and Beauty Salon in Banbridge.

Speaking about the students’ success, Sheila encouraged those still in training to maximise the advice from their tutors and the real life experience available from the College’s very own commercial salon.

Sheila also encouraged those who completed their training at the College and now working in local hair salons to continue their learning and skills training and to use their energy creatively for the competitive and ever-changing hairdressing industry.
