Fresh Start to New Term at South West College
The new term at South West College got off to an exciting and busy start with the College hosting its 4th annual Freshers’ Fayre to all new and returning students across the 3 main sites at Dungannon, Enniskillen and Omagh.
A whole bevy of local organisations, charities and societies attended the events, which took place from 20th – 22nd September, to dispense useful information, advice and freebies to students on hot topics such as healthy eating, sexual health, personal safety, road safety, money matters, drugs and alcohol awareness, managing stress and getting involved in College life.
The College’s catering students also served up a variety of tasty treats throughout the day and beauty therapy students provided complementary nail files and paints and hand and arm massages, all of which gave students and exhibitors a flavour of what’s on offer in the College’s commercial restaurant and salons.
The College would like to express its sincere thanks to all exhibitors for their contribution in making the events a success, which also acted as a useful platform to aid students’ social interaction within the College.
