It is also designed for Persons who want to formalise the skills already acquired in the industry or those wishing to re-skill. / In addition to this the course is also aimed at full time students completing A-Levels or BTEC National Diplomas who wish to continue their academic career in Engineering. / This course provides a nationally recognised qualification offering career progression and professional development.

Who is it suitable for?

These programmes are designed to benefit school leavers wishing to pursue a career in the Engineering industry. They are also targeted at on site personnel considering upskilling/reskilling as well as current engineers and professionals pursuing Continuous Professional Development. On completion of the Foundation Degree you will have the opportunity to articulate to the second year of a Engineering Degree programme with exemption from the placement in Year Three. You can therefore complete an honours degree within the same 4 years as a student who enrols directly to the university at the beginning of Year One.
