NOCN Level 3 Award in Graphic Design

This course is aimed at anyone interested in gaining or improving their graphic design skills - whether they already have some design experience, are keen to learn the basics or simply have an interest in the subject. Under the guidance of an experienced and multi award winning designer, students will receive a solid grounding in the disciplines, methods and technical aspects of graphic design, layout and typography, allowing the student to rapidly become proficient and knowledgable in design - and, with a project and practical led basis to the course - the ability to create their own high quality design work.

OCR Cambridge Technical Level 2 Diploma in Art & Design with a Certificate in Media

This Art and Design course helps students develop knowledge, skills, and understanding to enable them to express their creativity and imagination through responses to visual and written stimuli. The seven specification titles cover the breadth of Art and Design, both traditional and digital.

OCR Level 3 Cambridge Technical Subsidiary Diploma in Art and Design

The Graphics and Photography Pathway is a two-year course split into two one-year elements. In the first year, you’ll be placed onto the Subsidiary Diploma, where you’ll study 9 units, 18 in total over the 2 years. This is the equivalent of 3 x A Levels You’ll study units like Digital Technology, Branding for Design, Digital Photography, Animation, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics Advertising Photography and Fashion Photography. A typical unit consists of initial research, experimentation, generating ideas for a brief, developing ideas, presenting ideas to a client, using client feedback to refine ideas, and presenting a final outcome in response to a brief. Each unit is designed to be delivered as a project, based on commercial outcomes.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 Certificate in Performing Arts

This course is designed to give learners an introduction to the performing arts industry and to inspire them to pursue a career in this area. It will allow learners to develop skills in performance, acting, singing and production techniques. It is broadly equivalent to 1 AS level and attracts UCAS points.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 Combined Diploma in Art & Design

Art and design embody some of the highest forms of human creativity. If you’re interested in a career in the creative industry this course will provide you with the skills and understanding to progress within your chosen specialism. Through hands on projects students will experiment, invent and create their own works of art, craft and design. As pupils progress, they will be able to think critically and develop a more rigorous understanding of art and design focusing on their specialism in Performing Arts, Media, Graphic Design or Production Arts – Costume Design or Set Design.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art and Design

The aim of this course is to build upon the interest learners already have in the field of Art and Design and prepare them either to progress to Higher Education in the field, or to enter the industry directly. The practical nature of the course is designed to develop learner's expertise of the area of Fine Art and Large and Small Scale Design. Through hands on projects, they will develop skills, knowledge and understanding. A range of carefully selected topics equip learners with a broad view of all the main subjects needed to fully understand this area, and to be able to design and implement projects to a high standard.

Ulster University Foundation Degree in Design (Product & Graphic)

Design thinking and social marketing are quickly becoming two key processes in the operation of any enterprise. We are living through and are right at the key moment of a change in the way ideas are created and spread and implemented.
