Students Social Area
Each campus has a dedicated Student Social Area. This is a designated area where all students can relax, play pool or watch television; thus allowing students to socialise in an area that is bright, warm and enjoyable.
Hair Salons
Fancy a new hair style, colour, trim or even a blow dry? Then why not book yourself in for an appointment. All work is supervised by course tutors and prices are unbeatably low. Students are trained in a professional salon environment with experienced staff on-hand to provide assistance and advice. With the opening of the new South West College in Dungannon the facilities at the salon are second to none.

Cuisine at its finest is the mantra of the Colleges training restaurants. The tasteful elegance of the restaurants surroundings provides the perfect location for relaxing meal served to the highest standards by young training professionals.

Student Union
SouthWest College Students’ Union exists to represent and provide services for all students. The guiding principle of the Union is that it is run by students for students.
The ethos of the Student Union is to operate democratically, with all students having an opportunity to have their say in how the Union is run; elections are held yearly to fill a number of positions in the Union. Membership of the Student Union is automatic.
Learning Resource Centre (LRC)
Centres are available at each campus and aim to provide a student-centred resource centre with access to many different types of resources, such as books, journals, e-journals, databases and theses.

Creche
Dungannon and Omagh Campuses have fully functional crèche facilities on site. These facilities are operated by Treehouse and are available for staff and student bookings. Both crèches offer a drop-in service to facilitate parents at short notice.
