SWC invites prospective learners and the wider public to its annual College Connect event, offering school leavers and members of the public a valuable opportunity to explore apprenticeship pathways and engage directly with local employers. Running across SWC campuses, the event is designed to support those considering their next step ahead of apprenticeship starts in September 2026.

About College Connect

Visitors will have the chance to discover the full range of Apprenticeships, Higher Level Apprenticeships and Traineeships available, while meeting employers who are actively seeking to recruit. College staff and Careers Advisors will also be on hand to provide tailored guidance for anyone unsure about their preferred route or future career options.

Alongside employer exhibitions, attendees can tour college facilities and gain insight into the skills, training and progression routes offered across SWC’s apprenticeship programmes. The event will promote the College’s range of apprenticeship options available to young people and is suitable for both A Level and GCSE school leavers as well as the wider public.
