Learning by Doing
All interns participate in activities and meetings. Interns may have leadership potential but not understand the corporate culture. They rely on the supervisor to educate them. Written goals and objectives are established and clarified before the intern begins which will aid greatly in supervision.
Some interns need more guidance than others. Many factors must be taken into consideration: the intern’s cultural background, disabilities, learning style, and previous experience. Interns might not know when to speak or how or what to ask. Assist them in actively learning by explaining and clarifying everything. Suggest and encourage questions at all times.  All interns receive literature and other documents for review that are important for them to understand the big picture.
Career Development
Our training and development package includes:
  • A combination of formal training courses and on-the-job learning.
  • Regular feedback and performance reviews to inform your personal development.
  • A mentor to support you through your development.
  • Changing site/location to give an enriched experience of working in different situations.
  • The chance for supported study towards a range of professional qualifications (postgraduate certificates, CIPD, CIMA and others).
