Way out West at South West College picks up Digital Communication Award in Berlin

The South West College Blog, Way out West, picked up the award in the blog category at the 2017 Digital Communication Awards, which took place in Berlin on Friday 29th September. The blog, which was launched in January 2016 and offers ‘a new voice from within South West College’, saw off competition from companies such as IKEA and IBM to win the prestigious award in a competition which aims to ‘honour outstanding projects, campaigns and innovations in the field of online communications.’

Spanish Cuisine Master Class at South West College

Two Spanish lecturers visited South West College, Omagh campus, on a teaching placement funded through the Erasmus+ programme. Chef, Javier Andreu and a sommelier, Paco Ortiz, a trained wine professional, are tutors from Hotel Escuela, Madrid, which is a partner institute of South West College.

South West College Confucius Project Students China Bound

Students from South West College Enniskillen, Omagh and Dungannon campuses have joined with students from the Loreto Grammar Omagh, Enniskillen Royal Grammar School, Bangor Academy and Lagan College for the trip of a lifetime to China.
