Course Content
Two core units required: Engineering Health and Safety; Engineering Principles and Practice. One Principles unit: Principles of Fabrication or Principles of Fabrication and Welding. One Related Optional Unit: Platework and two further optional units from: CAD(Solidworks); Metal Inert /Active Gas; MMA or TIG.
Assessment Method
Assessed by practical tasks , assignments and online GOLA multi choice exams.
Progression Opportunities
Learners who successfully complete Level 3 may progress into supervisory, managerial or technical fields within the Engineering industry. Alternatively Learners may wish to progress to HNC , Foundation Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, or a Level 4 Engineering apprenticeship.
