Course Content

A solid grounding in business as well as a strong foundation in accountancy and taxation, together with an introduction to business and company law. Financial Accounting, Taxation, Law & Ethics, Business Management.

Assessment Method

External examination.

Progression Opportunities

Successful completion allows you to progress to the Level 5 Diploma for Accounting Technicians, which, together with two years’ relevant work experience, allows you to become a fully qualified Accounting Technician.

Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs including Grade C Mathematics and English or 2 AS Levels or 1 A Level or Applied Leaving Certificate. Mature learners who have reached over 21 years but not possess the minimum educational requirements.

Further Information

Students studying the Higher Level Apprenticeship (HLA) pathway do not incur tuition fees. Students must pay their registration fee directly to Accounting Technicians Ireland.
