Course Content

This Level 3 Award consists of one technical mandatory unit: Fashion and Photographic Makeup. The qualification covers High Fashion, Catwalk, Commercial and Bridal techniques. There will be additional costs associated with the materials required to complete the assessments criteria as well as the cost of professional photographs.

Assessment Method

A combination of practical assessment and theory on-line tests are used to assess this qualification.

Progression Opportunities

On successful completion of this qualification Learners will be eligible for employment as a Free-lance Make-up Artist or as a Film and TV Studio Make-up Artist. Progression opportunities would include: Level 3 Award in Media Make-up; Level 3 Award in Airbrush Make-up; Level 3 Award Create and Cast Prosthetic Pieces and Bald Caps and Level 3 Award in Applying Prosthetic Pieces and Bald Caps.
