If so, the Department for Employment and Learning (DEL) can assist you, small to medium and medium to large sized enterprises, with funding. Funding is available on a first come first served basis to businesses. Opportunities for Up-skilling and Re-skilling staff are open to businesses from all sectors and all applications are welcomed. South West College would be the accredited provider of training unless the business can identify another accredited provider. ANSWER is a cross-border project examining the potential of using Short Rotation Coppice (SRC) willow for the bioremediation of effluents and leachates. It is funded through the European Union European Regional Development Fund. AFBI is the Lead Partner.

BioEnerGIS
BioEnerGIS intends to provide an instrument helping decision makers to plan, on a regional scale, a sustainable exploitation of biomass. A GIS-based decision support system (DSS) will be developed, locating the most suitable sites for biomass plants installation, in terms of energetic, environmental and economic sustainability.

The Carbon Zero NI programme is a sector wide initiative by the Further Education sector under the leadership of the South West College in Northern Ireland. This programme is supported by the Department of Employment and Learning in Northern Ireland through the Innovation Fund, Employer Support Programme.

Get on Board – a short, innovative and collaborative training course aimed at people interested in playing a part in public life.The course aims to improve public accessibility to public appointments in Northern Ireland by explaining what Board members actually do and how the appointments process works in practice.
STEM
The STEM Centre at South West College is a specially designed state-of-the-art teaching facility and exhibition space. It is focused exclusively on delivering educational and instructional activities in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM).
SME Innovation Programme
The programme focuses on micro / small businesses that are either not yet Invest NI clients or are non-active Invest NI clients. It will act as a framework to catalyse innovation through a managed and integrated approach to innovation promotion and support.
