South West College International Leaders of the Future Scholarship

Chosen by a board of educational specialist, the successful recipients of the International Leaders Scholarship will be awarded to five aspirational International students who can demonstrate their drive and ambition to become international leaders of the future.

Each award is worth £6,500 per year towards fees for the duration of a 2 year Foundation Degree programme.  Continuing funding into year 2 is subject to students passing year 1 with a minimum average grade of 55% and the attendance legally required to satisfy visa requirements.

 

Eligibility:

In order to be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Have been offered a place to study at South West College on a full-time Foundation Degree course

  • Submit a scholarship application including a statement of support which should not exceed 500 words prior to the application deadline of Friday 30 June 2017.

  • Your statement of support should state succinctly the outstanding academic achievement and leadership skills that you have attained prior to study. In addition it must be clearly outlined in the submission how you will use the knowledge gained from your chosen degree programme to become a future international leader.

Application instructions:

Before you apply for this scholarship you must have completed an application for a September 2017 course. The scholarship application form will require you to provide your Application ID. You must submit a scholarship application including a statement of support which should not exceed 500 words prior to the application deadline of 30 June 2017.

£1,000 South West College Bursary for all International Students

South West College is the only college in the UK to offer an International Student Bursary to all International Students. Each award is worth £1,000 per year towards fees for the duration of a 2 year Foundation Degree programme. Continuing funding into year 2 is subject to students passing year 1 with a minimum average grade of 55% and the attendance legally required to satisfy visa requirements.
